Wonderful scenery, rugged cliffs, beautiful white sandy beaches and shorelines, and wide open areas of unspoilt countryside make west Cornwall an area rich in flora, fauna and other critters. We’re lucky enough to have breeding choughs in the nearby cliffs, dolphins and basking sharks visible from the coast path at the bottom of the valley, and all manner of animals, birds and insects that a bit of patience and a bit of luck will bring you in touch with. Just mind out for the sunbathing adders…harmless unless interfered with. Happy spotting.
