Always great to get guest comments, these are from Howard and family from way up in Northumbria who stayed in Myn Tea at the end of October…
You could put it down to the euphoric novelty of taking a proper half term holiday – we don’t get those as a rule at University – or perhaps just being back in Cornwall after such a long time, anyway it was just great on every level such a nice place. You were right! It was at least 2 hrs after arriving the wife – bless her – stopped saying ‘oh look at this? that’s lovely! why can’t we do that at home’. And the 3 year old had set up base with his toys and books in the small window on the stairs. We’re both pretty fussy in our own kind of way, Rebecca suffers from dust allergy and I’m happy with a view and a stove top mocha coffee machine, that was the first thing I clocked on arrival and at that point I knew it was going to be spot on.
Other good bits the double bed – lush, the mirrors and array of lights – incidentally the one above the bathroom sink needed a new lamp, the iPod docking active speaker – quality, sitting in the windows reading a book, watching the rain – proper switch off time, the warm bathroom – perfect in the morning. I could go on…
